Note from CCA

This movie event is an excellent opportunity to learn more about trap and release - the type of work our Community (Feral) Cat team does in the Upstate. We encourage anyone who wants to learn more about the program, especially those interested in volunteering. Buy tickets online here.

Event Info

Please join us for this exclusive one-night only showing of The Cat Rescuers. Learn what Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is and how it benefits the lives of colony cats and the community as a whole. Rescuers bring your family and friends to so they can have a glimps of what you are out doing all hours of the day and night.

Event Program

Movie presentation of The Cat Rescuers

An estimated half a million feral and abandoned cats prowl the streets, backyards and alleys of New York City, desperate for food and shelter. Meet Sassee, Claire, Tara and Stu, four passionate volunteers in Brooklyn who have come to their rescue because the city can’t. 'The Cat Rescuers' shows the skill, resilience and humor they bring to this challenging work, and how their mission to reduce animal suffering, often at great sacrifice to themselves, has made a difference and changed their lives.
